Michelin's XZL durable tires are used most often for special services such as emergency response vehicles. The open shoulder radial tread design encourages traction and flotation on a variety of surfaces such as highway, sand, snow, and muddy terrain. Featuring a non directional tread design, XZL tires offer versatility and on/off road optimization. The tubeless construction of the tires offer compatibility with bead locks, run-flat devices, and central inflation systems.
